[VirtualBox7] Linux(CentOS7) 설치 중 yum update 에러 해결

 
CentOS7 설치 직후, 재부팅 한 후에 yum -y update 명령어 입력하자마자 뜬 에러는 다음과 같다.

14: curl#6 - "Could not resolve host: mirrorlist.centos.org; Unknown error"

One of the configured repositories failed (Unknown),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:
 
1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.
 
2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
packages for the previous distribution release still work).
 
3. Disable the repository, so yum won't use it by default. Yum will then
just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it again or use
--enablerepo for temporary usage:
 
yum-config-manager --disable <repoid>
 
4. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
compromise:
 
yum-config-manager --save --setopt=<repoid>.skip_if_unavailable=true
 
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: base/7/x86_64

 
 
 
1. ping google.com  핑 찍어서 네트워크 문제있으면

vi /etc/resolv.conf

nameserver 8.8.8.8
nameserver 8.8.4.4


yum clean all
yum makecache
yum -y update

 
 
 
2. 그래도 해결 안 되면

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo
mirropage 주석 후 baseurl 주석 해제


yum clean all
yum makecache
yum -y update

 
 
 
여기까지 하니까 새로운 에러메시지가 추가 됐다.

failure: repodata/repomd.xml from base: 
[Error 256] No more mirrors to try. 
http:mirror.centos.org/centos/7/os/86_64/repodata/repomd.xml: 
[Error 14] HTTP Error 404 - Not Found

 
 
 
3. 최종 해결

vi /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.repo
baseurl=https://mirror.kakao.com/centos/$releasever/os/$basearch/ 변경

yum clean all
yum makecache
yum -y update
